Four bold adventurers and two pets fought their way through the Kojan dungeon looking for treasure. The mighty dread knight Qalamar with three healers to back him up, Elgir, Esora and Ruadonna. They relied on Ruadonna to guild them through the maze of lifts and corridors, and only got lost a few times!

Despite slaying many evil inhabitants of the dungeon, we left without finding our intended treasure (a few nice weapons and maybe an artificer's manual too), so a return trip is planned. Any guild characters around level 20-25 are welcome to join us!

Our second guild caravel, Ruache's "Gildenfyre", was launched from Khal harbour yesterday. After receiving some basic sailing tuition from Ysora, he sailed out of Khal and down the river. Unfortunately there are no "L" plates available ingame for caravels or we would have stuck some on the back, but if a bright red Kojani caravel with a dwarf at the helm heads straight towards you in future, do try to stay out of it's way. Ruache only ran aground once on the way out to sea, plus colliding with a stationary caravel anchored at the river's edge (causing both ships to despawn!), not too bad for a learner.

After being dunked in the river during the collision, Ysora retreated to the safety of her own "Drakeshana" and the two caravels headed out to that irresistable sea portal on the north Qalian coast. A word of warning though, don't try to sail more than one caravel through a sea portal at once - the results include colliding inside the portal and being thrown across additional chunk boundaries on the other side!

After weeks of delay, Ysora completes the Kojan Caravel Quest and the first guild caravel is constructed!

The stacks of knotted timber collected by the guild months ago were depleted, and further timber donations from Hagan and Dengorian were used as well. The refining went smoothly, thanks to the plank production manual Ragnaroth took from the corpse of a foul creature he slayed.

Ruache crafted the sails, rigging, and ironmongery needed, then waited for Ysora to finish the construction in Khal. He was fairly patient, but dwarves do get bored after awhile and he was soon performing handstands around the ship construction tables.

Finally the caravel was completed, given the name "Drakeshana" and launched from Khal harbour. For her maiden voyage we took her down the river to the east, then north out to sea. On reaching the sea portal we were transported effortlessly to Kojani waters, and we sailed her into Tawar Galan. There was a close call when our caravel was nearly rammed on the port side by a ferry galleon, but she sped forward out of harm's way and docked safely in the harbour for the night.

A New Home in the Deebs Valley

We waited for our new server, perfecting our masterplan for the land rush. Then we waited some more, and finally the moment arrived...

31st August 2007 - Gelenia and Infineum are merged to form Halgar, the new EU PvE Server.

The moment we arrived in our new land Belinda, Hagan, Ragnaroth and Ysora raced to buy their new homes. Belinda, Hagan and Ysora settled together in a small group of plots close to the Deebs bridges. Ragnaroth found himself several plots of land close by.

Shortly afterwards Fourwinds joined us, and we found him a good spot on a hill with a view. Jiffy arrived an hour later but was still able to find a home only a little further south, although be careful if you visit for Jagund the Wavebreaker roams nearby!

After purchasing our plots the construction work began, and there was some donating of second-hand homes too. Ysora is living in Belinda's old tier 4 house, whilst Hagan and Fourwinds received tier 3 homes from Ysora and Ragnaroth.

A group harvesting effort chopping down knotted trees outside New Targonor yesterday.

It also involved alot of running away from tier 4 undeads mobs who don't appreciate tier 1 and 2 characters in their neighbourhood!

312 knotted timbers were collected for Ysora's first caravel quest, and to help with the first real caravel after that.
Plus 9 warped timbers, the rare wood needed for the helm of a caravel.

Thanks guys! Maybe we can have a guild sailing trip to celebrate when I've built one.

Tonight six adventurers formed a group on Kojan. They made their way to the woold elf city of Ca'ial Brael,
and gathered in the Western Market. They stood face to face, some meeting each other for the very first time.
Then, under the trees of that fair city, our new guild was born!
