Here's a soltution:

Try to login from Finder's PC with Claws and vice-versa.
It seems there is some broken setting somewhere.

If this doesn't work ICQ/PM me your account details - I have had reports on resolving this by logging in from a different PC.

Addionally I'd try to delete the transportation_client_config.ini and clientprefs.def - they contain default data anyways, so no backup needed. After a fullscan they get replaced.


And yes, it's annoying. Hope they are soon done to do client updates, throws the game back to some unstable status.

reactivated finder-laptop and i can get in via the laptop!?

tried deleting files u mentioned arcat
found the transportation_client_config.ini
did not find clientprefs.def
deleted world cache
doesnt work so far

get stuck requesting manifest
after connection loss i cant try again without restarting because game says cant be run twice

how to get icq?

Hi,

fastest is to use msn messenger - as it's preinstalled at every windows xp and you can use your hotmail account to get online.

http://messenger.msn.com/ - there's the download link.

login with your hotmail + pass.
If you're new to messaging - use MSN - easiest to learn.


icq download is http://www.icq.com/, however it's a big client - I use http://www.trillian.cc/ to connect to all possible IM services there are.

got the messenger - you are shown as offline

did u change or upgrade your firewall recently, as that could be blocking the horizions program from accessing the internet. Everytime the game file horizions.exe changes with patches I have to re-allow the file to run through my firewall or it won't let me in.

Arcat saved my....not my relationship....but my online gaming career.

In the end it turned out to be an expired trial programm from McAffee.
Deinstalling it solved the problem right away.
