I 've picked up Guild Wars so i play that a bit as well as good ol' WC3, but after having 20+ characters in WoW I realize now that it was all just a waste. It isn't going to help me get into college, or better my life in any way. So why do we do it? Why do we spent countless hours playing this game only to abandon it two years later and pick up another?"

no way! I am still thinking about buying one... only to play ZELDA. I looooved my N64 for the games P

but really.. what the fuzz... count all the hours I been drinking and partying on various events... including the hangover next day... what did they give me?!

Although sometimes... yes... sometimes.. I really ask myself why I spend so much friggin time to build the 29 trees on my plot and haven't managed to clean my PC desk for 3 months now.. *shivers*

yes, mmorpg are a waste of time, but...

to waste time is to be
most humans define themselves by how they waste their time

playing mmorpg is no worse than watching tv all day and more entertaining most of the time

Tried using Google to translate this and failed, didn't make any sense. Mind you that's pretty much like life itself, isn't it?

And no, none of it matters, there's no point to either MMORPGs or Real Life. I used to think "well I'm here so I might as well try to be happy". But the world is a cold uncaring place, where nothing is fair, and if you do find some happiness in your life it can all be taken away from you in a moment.

So why not waste time? All the shit out there far outweighs any happiness you'll find.
