Finaly got game working .I can play on US but cant as yet find a way to join you guys .If anyone knows how please let me know and I will be on ASAP.

I think they give you serveraccess based on your IP-address. Your IP is probably an IP that is only used in North America (NA) hence you only get access to NA servers.

I think this is the reason they had such big problems at release. Some IPs is used across the atlantic and AE had added those IPs to the NA list and their servers wasnt up and running. Therefor alot of people couldnt gain access to the euro servers.

If you can find a way to fake your IP to look like a european IP you could probably get access to the euro servers.

This can be completely wrong information, but this is the way i have understood the bits and pieces of info AE has given us.

server is doing a rerouting according to your ip-address (can be overcome). you can go to a url like http://horizons.istaria.com/setcountry or something like that (have to look it up, someone posted it). then you can set your country. from now on you can play on servers you want BUT

they are sooo great, intelligent fully away that the world is not to be united in a game that they wont let you create a account on a european server with a US credit card :-(

nor can you create an account on a US server with a European credit card, so all the workarround are useless.

if you have someone in europe paying your account, you can use the workarround with the country to play the game, though .-)
