Hello All,

The Report a Bug link was broken for me, so I need to post here.

HCC v2.30
DB: 2009-03-19
Windows 7 Evaluation Copy 7100
Horizons is Installed

I am unable to resize the Profile Window. I tried the Registry fix from the post I found, but I can not find the keys.

Thanks,

Matt Arnold

Hiya,

You're at the correct location smile.gif "Report Bug" works fine for me on W7/7100. (Should lead you to http://hcc.reclamation.dk/?tag=support)

Regarding your post:

Both the Profile and Live Update Window cannot be resized by design. I've never questioned this since the Window handling part is very old smile.gif
I'll add your request on the Wishlist.

If you still wish to tweak the size you can use RegEdit for now:

CODE
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HCC2\Config\Windows
ProfileWnd: X:537, Y:4, W:462, H:511, V:N T:N

W: Width, H: Height

For some reason I don't have HCC2 in my registry under Local Machine or Current User. I even searched the registry and found nothing useful. I even tried adding the Key and it did no good.

FIXED: I had to right click the desktop, choose Screen Resolution, Click Make Text and Other Items Larger or Smaller, and pick 100%.

If you're using a 64bit Windows make sure you're in the 32bit tree of your registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432node\

However you should still be able to find "HCC2" when you search for it via CTRL-F.

The registry keys will get created during Setup (requires UAC elevation). If the Setup failed the keys won't exist and HCC doesn't have the permissions to re-create them during runtime (Vista/7 work only this way). A re-install (don't use "run as Administrator") should fix or add the keys.

You can test if your keys don't exist by resizing a window and selecting "Windows / Remember Position". When you restart HCC the window should be at the same spot.

Thanks. I didn't know about that 64 bit folder. Now I was able to set the size back to default. It was hard to see the stuff smaller.

You're welcome. Glad it worked out smile.gif
