The following issues are security recommendations, not actual hacking attempts. The documentation is no step-by-step guide to follow, but rather detailed descriptions of the problem and with some 'how to fix' suggestions. There is nothing illegal at putting these bits online: Every software out there has security issues put public in order to protect customers or users. I gave at both cases the vendor enough time to react on the issues and fix them.
